November/December 25 News from Kin

We’ve had a busy couple of months getting to know our business in its quieter, out-of-season rhythm. We expected things to slow down—yet November so far is is as vibrant as June and July!

We hosted our first official event (besides our openings), and it was a complete sell-out. Alchemy, our Samhain (Sow’een) celebration, welcomed twelve attendees who spent the evening learning tarot reading and crafting their own potions under the guidance of two of our Kin team, Lynette Lee and Lorna May. It was a joyful nigh

t filled with laughter, connection, and some impressive new skills.

We also welcomed a visiting Ayurvedic doctor for two fascinating sessions, both of which were very well attended.

We had our first staff night out where we celebrated 18 weeks in business, 600 customers and 40 couch rolls!

Last week we announced our December Glow event—and it sold out within four hours! A second date was quickly arranged for those on the waitlist, and that one filled almost immediately as well. As I write this, we already have another waitlist. Please watch this space for more events in the New Year - including some inter-generational ones to get the whole family involved.

We’re truly humbled and grateful for the warmth and enthusiasm we’ve felt from the local community. Thank you to everyone who has visited, shared a post, mentioned us to a friend, or supported us in any way. Your kindness is what keeps us energised and inspired. We’re looking forward to a new year full of new ideas to offer you!
